Mariya Berenbaum
Mariya Berenbaum, the founder of MBLAW. She has a diverse practice background that includes real estate, business, immigration and estate law. Her unwavering commitment to providing exceptional legal services has propelled MBLAW to become a trusted law firm in North York. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the prestigious York University, Mariya pursued her Bachelor of Law at the University of Kent in the United Kingdom. Upon returning to Ontario, she successfully completed her National Accreditation Exams and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2011.
Gaining valuable experience articling at a prominent downtown firm, Mariya embarked on her mission to establish MBLAW. Initially focused on real estate, MBLAW has grown alongside its clients, adapting to their evolving needs by expanding its areas of practice to include immigration, business, and estate law. Fluent in both English and Russian.
When not working, Mariya enjoys travelling with her family and indulging in her hobbies, which include skiing, gardening, and immersing herself in the captivating world of historical fiction.


Vlad Gukasov
Vlad Gukasov is a dedicated and knowledgeable legal professional, bringing a wealth of experience to MBLAW. He earned his MD from the Russian State Social University in 2006 and later pursued the Law Clerk program at Seneca College, enriching his legal background and skills.
For the past six years, Vlad has been an invaluable asset to MBLAW, contributing his expertise and passion for the law to the firm’s success. He is known not only for his diligent work ethic but also for his enthusiasm and camaraderie, which make him a beloved team member. Proficient in both English and Russian languages.
When not immersed in his legal work, Vlad enjoys playing football, indulging in well-deserved rest, and exploring his love for good food. In fact, he is known to delight the entire office with his delectable culinary treats, adding a touch of warmth and community spirit to the MBLAW team.
Julia Molovtseva
Julia Molovtseva is a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Real Estate Clerk at MB Law. With previous experience gained in the legal field and a strong foundation from her studies at Seneca College, she brings a valuable understanding of the legal process to her role.
Her background also includes studies in social work and psychology in Ukraine, where she developed valuable interpersonal and analytical skills that now enhance her ability to understand client needs and navigate complex situations. Enthusiastic about the real estate industry, Julia provides crucial support in real estate law, assisting with the smooth processing of property transactions and ensuring clients are well-informed throughout the legal process.
She is a hard-working individual committed to further developing her skills to provide even greater support and efficiency for our clients’ success at MB Law. Communicates effortlessly in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
Outside of her commitment to the dynamic real estate market, Julia enjoys spending quality time with her family and embracing the outdoors, bringing a balanced and grounded perspective to her work.


Marina Rumiantceva
Marina Rumiantceva brings a unique blend of creative, technical, and legal support expertise to the MBLAW team. With a degree from the St. Petersburg Academy of Performing Arts, Marina spent over ten years as an theatre and event director. Her interest in technology led her to Seneca College, where she completed studies in Computer Programming. Marina is currently continuing her education at Seneca College in the Immigration Case Manager program, building the legal knowledge and practical competencies required to support regulated immigration practitioners in Ontario. She plans to pursue the Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law at Queen’s University to become a licensed immigration consultant in the future.
At MBLAW, Marina manages the firm’s website and marketing activities, maintains a consistent brand presence, and contributes to client service as an immigration case manager. Marina speaks English and Russian and understands Ukrainian, which helps her support a diverse client community.
Outside of work and studies, Marina enjoys theatre, travel and long walks.
