The Articling Student Experience at MBLAW Professional Corporation
We offer a dynamic experience for articling students looking to gain practical experience and develop their legal skills. Our program is designed to provide students with hands-on training in file and practice management, legal research and writing, advocacy, and negotiations. But we go beyond just teaching legal skills – we believe that a truly meaningful and rewarding student experience involves participation in the implementation of solutions and seeing the results of your work.
One of the unique aspects of working at MBLAW is the opportunity to work in a multicultural environment. Our team is made up of individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and we celebrate and embrace our differences. We believe that having a variety of perspectives and experiences allows us to better serve our clients and provide innovative solutions to legal problems.
Our articling program offers students significant responsibility and challenges, including direct client contact and the chance to work on files through multiple stages. Our lawyers, of all levels of experience, work directly with students, providing instruction, professional guidance, and advice to help them grow and learn.
Our student program is supervised by Mariya Berenbaum, who meets regularly with each student to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback. We also encourage participation in the firm’s social and recreational activities, fostering a supportive and enjoyable environment for all. Join us at MBLAW Professional Corporation and gain invaluable experience in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Articling applications for the 2025-2026 year are due by June 1, 2025, 5:00 PM. Please fill out form and provide a cover letter, resume, law school and undergraduate transcripts, and letters of reference.
