Our articling program gives students meaningful responsibility, practical challenges, and exposure to client files at different stages. Lawyers and team members work directly with students, offering instruction, professional guidance, and feedback as they develop their skills.
Law Student Program

Articling at MBLAW Professional Corporation
MBLAW offers articling students practical experience and the opportunity to develop legal skills through real client files. Students may be exposed to file and practice management, legal research and writing, advocacy, negotiation, and client communication. We also believe that meaningful training includes seeing how legal work is applied and how careful support can help move a matter forward.
Our Team
One of the strengths of working at MBLAW is the opportunity to be part of a multicultural team. Our team brings together people with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. This helps us communicate with a diverse client community and approach legal matters with care, practicality, and respect.

Mentorship with Mariya Berenbaum
The student program is supervised by Mariya Berenbaum, who meets regularly with students to review progress and provide constructive feedback. Students are also encouraged to participate in the firm’s professional, social, and team activities. MBLAW aims to provide a supportive environment where students can gain practical experience and continue developing their legal skills.
